FAQ

How much does it cost?

 

A THREE Course Lunch starts at $8 with an option to make the lunch a little bit bigger or fancier for few dollars more.

 

What’s the delivery process?

 

Once each schools order has been made, orders are packed into chiller boxes to ensure freshness of each meal. Meals are temperature checked during packing as well as at the point of delivery.

 

What is the best way to get the service for my school?

 

Register your school using our Register Page and we will do the leg work. Please provide as much information as possible so we can speak to either the principal or the P&C directly. We are happy to come to your P&C meeting to talk about how the service can be implemented.

 

How does my child get their lunch?

 

Each school will have its own process for distribution of lunches to the classroom either by asking children to collect their meals from a central location or by sending a lunch helper to collect for the classroom. When we establish a relationship with your school the process will be agreed based on feedback from the Principal.

 

What temperature is the food served at?


We serve all of our food at either room temperature or chilled, including our baked goods. This is so all of our delicious food can be served in the same box without compromising consistency. We are hoping to offer a hot box over winter so stay tuned for updates!

 

How often does the menu change?

 

Our menu changes with the seasons, aligned to the school term but we will always keep our most popular items available throughout the year.

 

How far in advance can I order?

 

Meals can be ordered for the week ahead from Friday afternoon, at this stage we are unable to take orders beyond the week but it is something we would like to offer in the future.

 

Where is the food prepared?

 

Our food is prepared fresh daily in a commercial kitchen on Whitfield Street Bassendean. All of our baked goods are made fresh by us except for the bread.

 

My child has a food intolerance or allergy.

 

We are an allergy aware kitchen and offer a range of foods to suit various dietary requirements. Please refer to our menu page for further details and select foods based on your child’s needs. If you do need more information please contact us at hello@packedlunchbox.com.au.

 

What if I need to make a complaint?

 

Please talk to us; we will always try to smooth things over if something goes wrong.

 

What if I have ordered the wrong lunch?

 

Give us a call and we will amend the order.

 

What if my child is sick?

 

Let us know as soon as possible before 9am on the day of delivery and we will credit your account for the missed lunch.

 

What is the refund policy?

 

As a general rule we do not offer refunds however if you’re not happy, we want to know about it and will try to resolve any concerns you may have. Unless required by law a refund will not be given.
